The Suffolk Chamber of Commerce does fantastic work supporting our rich array of local businesses. Paul Simon, Head of Communications provided me with an update on their ambitions and priorities for businesses in Suffolk, and issues such as investment in critical infrastructure, particularly delivery of the Ely/Haughley junction to take freight traffic off the road and onto the railways.
We also discussed improvements to mobile infrastructure, including 5G and business rates. I’m looking forward to working with the Chamber and meeting more of their representatives over the coming months.
