It was great to speak at Ipswich Suffolk Business Club on Friday. There is so much to be optimistic about for the future of Suffolk’s economy, as businesses across the county are constantly driving jobs, innovation, and investment.
We also discussed the challenges ahead, from rising costs, including the senseless rise in national insurance contributions for employers, to localised skills shortages, but also the huge potential for growth in our area. I’ll keep pushing for policies that nurture businesses and strengthen our local economy.
Thank you to Councillor Liz Harsant for inviting me to speak.
